Free Radical Sound Recordings Profile
Though
essentially a new label the people behind Free Radical Sound Recordings have
been involved the music scene and record industry for several years, as DJs,
club promoters, record label A&R. as well as our beloved freeradicalsound.com
website. With record label we aim to put out quality releases which cross
new & exciting underground sounds over to a wider audience. Particular attention
is paid to sourcing tracks which stand out in their own right, yet work musically
within the context of a compilation & the CD booklets contain well written
and informative text on the featured artists.
The musical
basis of the label is concentrating on tracks which work as well on the club
dancefloor, as they do listening at home, taking in a love of ska, dub, reggae,
punk and electronic music combined with new & evolving dance forms, beats
and basslines. Several compilations are scheduled for 2001, in addition to
other associated projects which fall slightly outside the musical policy of
the label itself, but tie in with the broader musical spectrum of the freeradicalsounds.com

FREE
RADICAL SOUNDS can also offer tour & club packages featuring artists & DJs
included on the compilations, including some of the UK’s top club names -
an excellent marketing tool for promoting releases, and have plenty of experience
in this field to organise such events.
